Sardinia is an extraordinary island offering some of the most striking landscapes in the Mediterranean – from crystal‑clear waters and white sand beaches to rugged mountain interiors, ancient stone villages, and dramatic coastal cliffs.
These versatile environments make Sardinia a premier destination for film productions, photo shoots, commercial filming, video productions, and editorial shoots – and we’ve been bringing international clients here for over two decades, producing shoots for luxury fashion houses, automotive brands, and lifestyle campaigns across the island.
Whether you’re capturing luxury lifestyle content, editorial fashion campaigns, automotive commercials, or branded video content, Sardinia brings cinematic variety and visual impact that elevate creative projects of every scale.
Sardinia is one of Europe’s most visually diverse production destinations – and one of the most consistently rewarding places to shoot. Pristine white-sand beaches, turquoise waters layered in extraordinary shades of green and deep blue, rugged mountain interiors, ancient nuraghe stone towers, and sun-bleached historic towns – all within easy reach of each other, and all within a single production day, making it ideal for high‑end brand campaigns, advertising photography, fashion film production, and destination video production.
Sardinia offers a visual range that is genuinely rare in a single location. That diversity makes it ideal for high-end brand campaigns, advertising photography, fashion film production, luxury lifestyle content, and destination video production across formats and industries.
Sardinia’s southern Mediterranean light is among the most sought-after in Europe for professional productions. Warm, naturally directional, and extended well beyond golden hour, it consistently delivers cinematic quality that leading fashion houses, automotive brands, and luxury lifestyle clients return to season after season.
We have produced 500+ shoots across the island, making us one of the most experienced production companies operating in Sardinia. Our local expertise covers the full spectrum: fashion film production, commercial photography, video production, automotive commercials, branded editorial, and editorial fashion campaigns – all produced to international brief standards, with full location management, permits, crew sourcing, and logistics handled end to end.
Sardinia requires careful logistical planning – it’s an island with distances to consider and some locations that need advance permits and boat access. Our team handles all of this on your behalf, so arrival day is smooth and focused on creative work.
• Full location scouting
• Boat charters and water-based logistics for island and sea shoots
• Permits – including applications for protected natural areas and UNESCO sites
• Local crew, talent, and equipment across the island
• Villa, hotel, and on-location accommodation coordination
• Ground and air transport including helicopter logistics when needed
May to July and September to October offer the best combination of light, temperature, and location access. The sea is at its most vivid, the landscape is green rather than sun-bleached, and locations that become overrun in peak summer remain accessible and manageable. July and August are entirely workable but the Costa Smeralda in particular gets extremely busy – book accommodation, permits, and crew well in advance if shooting in high season.
NEAREST AIRPORTS Sardinia has three international airports depending on your shooting area. Cagliari (CAG) serves the south and southwest. Olbia (OLB) is the gateway to the north and the Costa Smeralda, with the most direct European connections in summer. Alghero (AHO) covers the northwest coast. We handle all airport transfers and on-island ground transport.
FERRY ACCESS Sardinia is also reachable by ferry from the Italian mainland – Genoa, Civitavecchia, and Livorno – and from Barcelona. This is particularly useful if your production requires vehicle transport or equipment that cannot fly. We can coordinate vehicle and equipment logistics by sea on request.
SHOOT LEAD TIME We recommend contacting us at least 4 weeks before your planned shoot dates. Permit applications for protected coastal areas and natural reserves can take 2–3 weeks, and certain locations in the north require additional authorisation during peak season.
